How Did We Compose the Guitar Solo in Ráchel (Rachel)

The author was thinking about harmony E minor–C–E minor–C–G–H on repeat. This comes from the first movement of Dvořák's Symphony No. 9 in E minor, "From the New World". He was playing it on his gramophone on and on. He was fascinated by the harmony so much that single tones for the guitar were being composed in very easy manner, even for the guitar in the second part of the duet. It felt really simple as if maestro Antonín Dvořák was sitting right next him, giving him advice and inspiring him. You can listen to the solo right here:
